PASTOR JOSHUA HAMM

Josh began his ministry as Senior Pastor of KEFC in September of 2018. He and his wife, Esther, along with their daughter, Eliora, are glad to be serving this local body of believers through preaching, vision, and care for God's flock in this commuity.

Prior to his arrival Pastor Josh was, (and still is) a disciple in training:

 The call to serve Jesus Christ came to me while   learning God's Word in youth ministry. The life of a Christ follower was impressed on me deeply, and eventually, the journey of following Him led to opportunities for service. With encouragement and positive feedback from a faithful mentor I explored teaching and discovered a gift. There was a lot I didn't have figured out, but leaning on His invitation I knew the pursuit for me was in His kingdom work.

Pastor Josh went on to complete a B.A. in Pastoral Studies from the Moody Bible Institute in 2008 (where he met Pastor Nathan), and then his M.A. in Biblical Studies from Piedmont International University in 2017. The years in between were marked with local church ministry as well as some time overseas. In 2010-11 Josh lived and ministered in New Delhi, India where he met his future wife, Esther. All it took was the sympathy from a sprained ankle and a commonality in music to initiate a friendship that eventually blossomed love. After packing up her life and moving to this side of the globe they were married in 2012 and settled in Josh's hometown in Ohio. In 2016 they welcomed their daughter into the world  before venturing to the Minnesota frontier two years later! Together they love music, exploring new places, and trying new foods.
